Quantitative research: Survey

How many times in the last year have you participated in any kind of survey? More than 10, from 5 to 10, from 1 to 5, not a single time. Survey is one of the most popular forms of quantitative research. Why? It's cheap, it scales, it could be distributed through different mediums and it delivers comparable results.
