Lack of problem worth solving - the reason your product failed

  Some products are great. Beautifully looking, technically superb, with great marketing. Only one problem - no one is using them. Why? There's no problem worth solving with those products.

Seniority is to have less not more

Participants need to be recruited upfront and they need to represent your desired market segment. You need an experienced facilitator to run a focus group. Best practice is to record focus group on camera for future analysis.

Great difference between what people say they do and what they actually do Observation is one of qualitative user research techniques. By observing people using your app you might get very important insight, that couldn't be obtained otherwise.
